SUPERIOR TERRAIN CAPABILITY
The Gator XUV Crossover Series Utility Vehicle has a precision-engineered drivetrain system that fully utilizes engine power, optimizing acceleration, hauling, towing, and hill-climbing capabilities. Power is transmitted from the engine through a continuously variable clutch system to the transaxle.

POWERFUL DIESEL ENGINE DELIVERS SUPERB STARTING, IDLING, AND THROTTLE RESPONSE
The machine is powered by an 854-cc (52.1-cu in.), 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-cycle diesel engine. It produces 48 Nm (35.5-lb-ft) of torque at 2600 rpm. The advanced engine delivers superb starting, idling, and throttle response during operation. The engine offers the following performance and reliability features:

DUAL A-ARM FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION PROVIDES A SMOOTH RIDE OVER CHALLENGING TERRAIN AND EXCELLENT HAULING CHARACTERISTICS
To complement the most capable frame available in a high-performance utility vehicle, the XUV is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension. A dual A-arm front and rear suspension provides a smooth ride over challenging terrain and excellent hauling characteristics. The entire suspension system has been optimized to handle no cargo to maximum cargo without compromising ride quality or vehicle stability.

EXTRA-DURABLE DELUXE CARGO BOX ENSURES HARD-WORKING PERFORMANCE AND LONGEVITY
The deluxe cargo box consists of a 15 percent glass-filled polypropylene composite material that eliminates rust, dents, and reduces noise. The tailgate can be opened or removed for easier cleanout and to carry longer items. The tailgate has been improved, features truck-like performance, and can be operated with one hand. The standard-installed lanyards can also be removed to lower the tailgate to 150 degrees for convenient loading and unloading tasks. The deluxe cargo box is easier to latch, unlatch, raise, and lower with the integrated handle design and gas assist. A prop rod is provided to hold the box in the upright position for operator convenience, as well as to limit box pivot travel.

The deluxe cargo box offers integrated tie-down points for increased versatility. Tie-down points are located in the following areas:
Four corners inside the cargo box bed
Four points on the load guard directly behind the operator station
Tie-down bars on either side of the cargo box
Six points on the underside of the cargo box frame

CONQUER TOUGH TERRAIN WITH CONFIDENCE
You will feel confident and comfortable, even on tough terrain, with a full-size Gator Utility Vehicle. You will feel stable with a low center of gravity and a wide stance. Engine braking and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes keep you in control on steep descents, even when fully loaded. The power steering on M- and R-Trim vehicles, is smooth and responsive.

With standard four-wheel drive and rear differential lock, both instantly available with the flip of a switch, you can get where you are going.

The independent suspension provides a smooth ride as 203 mm (8 in.) of front suspension travel and 229 mm (9 in.) of rear suspension travel cushions bumps and glides over ruts. And clearing rocks and roots is no problem with 284 mm (11.2 inches) of ground clearance.

BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL
The hefty frame is designed to stand-up to all the bumps and bends of the trail, and the standard front skid plate protects key components from damage.

Constant velocity joints are enclosed to keep water and dirt out. A protector shield protects the boot from trail debris.

The hood and side panels are made of automotive-grade materials that resist scratches and dents, and the cargo box is made of tough composite material that resists dents and rust. Optional protection packages look tough and provide even more protection.

AUTOMOTIVE-LIKE CONTROLS
When you sit behind the wheel of a full-size Gator Utility Vehicle, you will be reminded of your favorite pick-up truck. There are controls at your fingertips, an easy-to-read instrument panel, and outlets to recharge your phone.
Shift from park and into gear with a throw of a single lever. Power steering on M- and R- trim vehicles is smooth and responsive.
When the going gets tough, you can instantly engage four-wheel drive and rear differential lock with switches. Even at night, the backlit switches are easy to see. If a front wheel starts to slip, the front differential automatically locks to pull you through.

ROOM FOR YOU, PLUS TWO, WITH CAB COMFORT
When you hop into the seat of a full-size Gator Utility Vehicle, you will notice theres seating for you, plus two.

The adjustable operators seat and tilt steering lets drivers of all sizes get comfortable, and the passenger grab handles help everyone feel secure. The low step height and generous opening between seat base and fender is even designed to accommodate bulky work boots.

On cab vehicles, you will enjoy standard heating and air-conditioning that will keep you comfortable in every season, and the tight-closing doors help seal out dust and reduce noise. When you want to let in the breeze, you can also roll down the windows and open the front windshield.

ATTACHMENT-READY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
On M- and R-trim vehicles, adding attachments and accessories is made easier by the inclusion of some main wiring harnesses that facilitate efficient hook-up. If dual beam headlights are desired, the following bundles are required:

EQUIPPED WITH POWER STEERING
This Gator XUV Crossover Utility Vehicle is equipped with power steering and a dual A-arm front suspension. These automotive-type systems exhibit excellent handling characteristics, as well as responsive steering and low steering effort:
Steel ball-bearings secure the steering shaft and deliver smooth, responsive operation
Completely sealed rack and pinion for long life
Low steering ratio (lock-to-lock) provides more responsive steering and less operator input
Shaft U-joints are phased for a smooth, uninterrupted motion of the steering wheel
Tilt steering wheel with 15 degrees of travel

M TRIM DETAILS
The M trim adds electrical power-assist steering (EPAS) and brings in the main wiring harness for easier attachment hook-up. Cabs are available in this trim level. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) is also an option within the M-trim level.
