HEAVY-DUTY TRANSPORTATION The all-new Unverferth RoadRunner HD features all-welded, heavy-duty construction and six-wheel design with a tricycle front end for safely hauling your high-value header from field to field. This header transport is specifically designed and constructed for long-haul travel, added stability, and to serve as the ideal carrier for your combines grain platform, draper head or corn head. The all-welded rigid frame with diagonally welded cross braces in opposing directions maximizes durability yet provides a streamlined design for ease of use. FEATURES & OPTIONS
AXLE DESIGNS
The tandem rear axle design features 7,000-pound torsion axles for a smooth and stable ride and multipoint adjustment from front to rear to accommodate different heads
The axles feature highway-rated eight-bolt hubs and spindles
An optional frame-mounted spare tire kit is available for added peace of mind
Standard with 235/85 R16 LRE or optional 235/75 R17.5 LRE tires
Tricycle-style front torsion axle permits tighter turning, features a 6,500-pound capacity, and has full-wrap plastic-molded fenders to protect the towing vehicle and header from stones and debris
HD-52 and HD-48 are standard with four-wheel brakes on the rear tandem axles, HD-42 has two-wheel brakes on the rearmost axle, and HD-36 and HD-30 feature optional brakes
Depending on the model, six-, four- and two-wheel brakes are optional equipment, and all brake packages include a breakaway feature in case of emergency

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Adjustable tongue length from 4 8" to 6 9" with a clevis hitch and extendable design to easily hook up to the towing vehicle then back up to automatically lock into place
The transport light cord features an industry-standard seven-pin RV plug for attachment to the towing vehicle
Six-way tool-free adjustable header rest pads on the lower frame with locking mechanism for securing the rest pad in place are designed to accommodate most heads
Standard tool-free tie-down package includes heavy duty 2" nylon straps and truck-style ratchets for quick and easy tightening

The Unverferth RoadRunner HD header transport is ideal for safely transporting your header or grain platform over those long-haul, highway-speed trips from field to field. This innovative design includes a tricycle front wheel design, tandem rear axle and highway-speed rated tires that transport down the road and into the next field as quickly as possible. The front and rear torsion-flex axles ensure stable tracking and towing for a smoother ride. The RoadRunner HD is available in lengths from 52' to 30' and features rear brakes and turn signals for increased road transport safety. Specifically designed to haul your grain platform, draper head, chopper or conventional corn head down the highway to keep harvest moving smoothly.

HEAVY-DUTY TRANSPORTATION
The RoadRunner HD features a rigid frame with large 14" x 4" tubes on 52', 48' and 42' models and 12" x 4" tubes on 36' and 30' models.
The tricycle front wheels facilitate maneuvering for tight turns, and the tongue rotates fully under the frame so less space is needed during storage.
The tongue is length-adjustable from 57" to 81" to match individual towing needs and telescopes up to 24" for ease of hitching.

MODELS & SIZES
Models HD-52, HD-48, HD-42, HD-36 and HD-30 feature 52', 48', 42', 36' and 30' lengths for hauling a wide variety of corn heads, draper heads, grain platforms or choppers.

REST BAR & BRACKETS
The upper rest bar allows full width support of the combine head or grain platform, and it contains storage space for extra cutter bars where the lower rest bar maintains its rigidity to carry the heaviest headers.

The rest pads on the RoadRunner HD features six-way adjustability for the greatest flexibility for carrying several different heads and platforms with one unit.

Rest brackets feature cam-lock handles for complete, tool-free adjustability, and tie downs with easy-operating ratchet for securing the load are standard equipment.

COLOR OPTIONS
The RoadRunner HD is available in your choice of a high-gloss powder-coat finish in tractor red, green or black for optimum durability.

TRANSPORT SAFETY
Standard-equipment safety chain, frame mounted LED rear light package, reflective striping and optional electric rear and/or front brakes enhance transport safety.
RoadRunner HD models are available with 2-, 4- or 6-wheel brakes, depending on model, and includes a breakaway kit for added transport safety.

UNDERCARRIAGE SYSTEM
Tandem, adjustable 7,000 lb. rubber-cushioned rear axles with suspension and a wider 93" tread width for increased clearance for draper heads and corn heads with stalk stomper attachments.

Front and rear axle features torsion-flex suspension with highway-speed rated tires keep the RoadRunner HD smooth and stable when towing.

Standard-equipment front molded-poly fenders rotate with the wheels to minimize road damage to combine heads and pickup tailgates.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Customize your RoadRunner HD header transport to fit your operation's needs. A 12.5" bracket for specialty applications with header feet wider then 7" provides greater versatility. A pintle hitch is available for trucks that are equipped with a pintle hook. An adapter bracket option has been added to accommodate stripper heads. Other options include a ball hitch conversion package, spare tire, poly rear fenders, and a VIN package. Mounting kits are also available for Claas Convio, John Deere and Honey Bee drapers.
