JOHN DEERE - T6 800 Back
JOHN DEERE - T6 800 COMBINE
That big, comfortable cab we put on the X9? Yeah, its the same one we put on the T6 800. Bigger, with more visibility and more comfort to help you stay focused no matter how many hours you pack into your day. To keep you more connected with your combine, we included an integrated G5Plus CommandCenterTM Display and StarFireTM Receiver. And the new primary display is bigger than previous models, giving you better visibility and control. More convenience. More control. More comfort. Thats how you keep at your best... all day long.
A SMART POWERPLAY
John Deere 9.0L Engine The new T6 800 Combine gets a power-plant upgrade worthy of an all new machine. The new generation 9 Liter engine features a new L40 control system that delivers advanced diagnostics. Improved fuel dosing and EGR system refinements reduce fuel usage and provide easier serviceability. Together, the 9L offers a giant leap in helping you manage fuel usage and machine operating costs.
NEW CHOPPER FOR BETTER DISTRIBUTION
What goes in, must come out. And what comes out of the T6 800 is better straw. Thats thanks to an improved residue management system that includes a new 4-row chopper... an improved unit that shares the same knives as the S7 and X9. So does the Remote Knife Adjustment, which gives you in-cab ability to make on-the-go adjustments.
ADJUSTABLE AUGER SPOUT
Not only do you get four new auger length options, you also get an Adjustable Auger Spout. Now you can adjust auger positions right from your cab. That makes it faster and easier to fill carts or trailers on the go, and it reduces unnecessary grain spillage, increasing your overall grain retention.
MORE ACRES. LESS STRESS.
GROUND SPEED AUTOMATION
Easily maintain a consistent feed rate with Ground Speed Automation . Its a dynamic ground speed control thats based on your inputs and operator-defined limits on variables such as grain loss, engine power, and drum pressure.
Included in Premium Technology Package
TERRAIN SETTING AUTOMATION
Terrains may vary, but your cleaning shoe performance shouldnt. Thats why we gave the T6 800 automated terrain adjustment . Using pitch angle data from the integrated StarFire Receiver, the combine automatically calculates needed changes in the fan speed, chaffer and sieve opening to prevent cleaning shoe over-blow and material being moved too fast or not at all.

EASY-TO-USE G5PLUS COMMANDCENTER DISPLAY SHOWS ALL IMPORTANT HARVEST DATA The G5Plus CommandCenter is the central information system used on all John Deere S7 and X9 Combines. The display allows the operator to view various important harvest and diagnostic information during harvesting and organized in a layout based on operator preferences. The G5Plus CommandCenter has been developed in combination with the CommandARM console and the multifunction control lever to deliver outstanding ergonomics paired with best-in-class natural navigation.
Focus less attention towards controlling combine speed and more on other harvesting tasks with Ground Speed Automation
Ground Speed Automation dynamically adjusts combine ground speed during harvest based on various operator inputs and internal sensors around the machine. These sources are continuously evaluated and executed upon to command a harvesting speed:
Terrain Adjusts ground speed according to combine pitch
Previous coverage Increases ground speed for areas already harvested
Grain Loss level Quicker reaction of ground speed to changes in grain loss
Engine power limit Adjusts ground speed to maintain user defined engine power target
Header height changes Adjusts ground speed dependent on header height. Raising will incrementally increase ground speed, lowering will decrease
Ground speed limit Maximum harvesting ground speed threshold predefined by operator
Transition the traditional mindset from harvesting at a fixed speed, thereby feeding varying crop throughput, to instead a more productive viewpoint of maintaining consistent throughput by varying the machines ground speed proportionally with using automation. This, along with focusing less on controlling speed and more on other harvesting tasks, is the value achieved with Ground Speed Automation.
UNIQUE OVER-THE-TOP FEEDING CONCEPT OF THE T-SERIES
The overshot beater makes the T6 unique in the industry. Over-the-top feeding to gently transfer material from threshing into the separation area. This enables larger wrapping angles at the concave and separating drum and ensures higher throughput with minimum losses even under the toughest separation conditions.
Benefits
Large separation area due to size of the separator grate and rear beater
Optimal and smooth crop flow to ensure unmatched straw quality
Versatile concept to ensure uptime of the machine and easy crop conversion
SECOND-LARGEST CLEANING SHOE ON THE MARKET TO THE JOHN DEERE X9 COMBINES
The Dyna-Flo Plus cleaning system is developed and specially designed for the T6 Combines.
Features of the Dyna-Flo Plus cleaning system include:
Auger-type preparation system with six augers
Precleaning system dual-stage step-pan design associated with air flow distribution separates chaff from free grain. Grain separated at the prep pan is conveyed to the chaffer via step floor.
Chaffer and sieve system aerated louver design with optional flat tooth comb (FTC) louvers for chaffer element
SlopeMaster system is standard on the chaffer to handle slopes up to 7 percent and enable easy access to the lower sieve.
Divided chaffer and sieve elements on wider T6 channel width enable convenient removal of shoe elements.
Extended length of sieve elements ensures increase of cleaning shoe area.
Front chaffer with two ventilated steps provides best pre-chaffer separation.
Tailings are returned to the threshing cylinder.
Cleaning shoe frame design hybrid material cleaning shoe construction of aluminum extrusions, high-strength steel, nodular castings, and structural rivets is more immune to cyclical stresses.
Fan is a barrel-wheel design with air inlets. An optional dual-range fan drive concept is available for special crops such as grass seed.
unique wind board behind the fan scopes the air distribution need across the entire shoe width and length.
SAVE TIME UNLOADING ON THE GO WITH A PEAK UNLOADING RATE OF 4.3 BU/SEC (150 L/S) AND MACHINE SYNC
Two grain tank sizes are available 11,000 L (312 bu) and 13,500 L (383 bu) (requires ProDrive, not available with HillMaster). Together with the 150 L/s (4.3 bu/sec) unload rate they provide a perfect match for the productivity of this combine. 11,000-L (312-bu) grain tanks offer a high capacity to increase harvest time between unloading. With 13,500-L (383-bu) grain tanks providing the highest productivity for operators.
With 150 L/s (4.3 bu/sec) unload rate the tanks are empty again in 73 seconds (11,000 L [312 bu]) / 90 seconds (13,500 L [383 bu]).
Both grain tanks come with two grain-tank-level sensors to alert the operator when levels reach three-fourths and full. The grain tank levels are also tied into the beacon lights to alert grain cart drivers. A convenient hinged door panel provides quick access to obtain a grain sample. The grain trough delivers grain right to the sampling area for increased safety when taking an early grain tank sample.
For easier clean out all grain tanks are equipped with tool-less cross auger cleanout hatches.
ENHANCED EXTRA FINE CUT RESIDUE SYSTEM FOR HIGH QUALITY CHOPPING AND RESIDUE DISTRIBUTION
Harvest has started, and grain is rolling into the bins. The combines are set, and the sample looks good, but the producers must be sure they considered their residue management needs. The straw must be chopped fine enough to minimize row-unit plugging and future tillage passes, and it must be spread evenly to enable uniform emergence and faster soil warming for next years crop. Next years harvest starts this harvest, and it begins with proper residue management.
On T6 Combines, John Deere offers both a fine-cut (FC) and extra-fine-cut (XFC) chopper to meet a wide range of cut quality needs. The following table shows the key configuration differences in the chopper types.
