GET IT DOWN PAT
The 950 P-Tier is the largest dozer on the market to be equipped with a sixway power-angle-tilt (PAT) blade.* Impressive 184-inch PAT blade width helps you cover more ground in fewer passes while 8.6-cubic-yard PAT blade capacity lets you doze, grade, and move earth to the max. * PAT blade available only with LGP track configuration.

Field-proven, dual-path hydrostatic transmission delivers continuous power to the ground, for effortless operating control. Programmable settings for the hydraulic and transmission systems that adjust response rates and speed enable operators to fine-tune the 950 P-Tier to individual preference and experience level.

WORK LIKE YOU MEAN IT
Fully enclosed cab including air conditioner/heater with directional vents keeps the glass clear and the interior comfortable. Updated primary display supports customized presets of hydraulic and transmission settings, allowing operators to conveniently tailor preferred machine response. Deluxe suspension high-back seat is angled at 15 degrees for a clear view of the rear ripper and adjusts seven ways when you want to move. Low-effort controls, ergonomically correct joystick, and integrated forward-neutral-reverse (F-N-R) switch deliver intuitive command of machine functions.

CONTROL AS YOU GO
Hydraulic dual-tilt option for Outside Dozer allows the operator to adjust blade pitch on the go from the cab to optimize blade control throughout the push. Using programmable return-to-pitch settings, blade-pitch positions can be preset or activated at the touch of a button.

GRADE-MANAGEMENT SOLITIONS
Our suite of factory-integrated grade-management technologies including optional SmartGrade 3D grade control available on the 950 P-Tier power-angle-tilt (PAT) configuration simplify grading tasks. These intuitive offerings are easy for operators of any experience level to master. All technology options are fully supported by the John Deere dealer network:
Factory-equipped, purpose-built SmartGrade expands the versatility of the 950 P-Tier with PAT by enabling the dozer to capably take heavy cuts and precisely finish grade. Delivering advanced levels of productivity and grading performance, this mastless solution requires no daily calibration or installation/removal of antennas.
Standard electrohydraulic (EH) controls make it easy to add the grade-control system of your choice.

STAY ON TRACK
Track on ground of 126.5 inches for standard configuration and 135.1 inches for LGP provides reliable stability in difficult terrain and helps optimize ripper productivity in any ground condition.

MAINTENANCE MATTERS
Mainframe side sheet and bottom belly pans simplify service. Large hinged doors bring dipsticks, fill tubes, maintenance-free batteries, and vertical filters within easy reach. Operator station tilts a full 70 degrees in only minutes, for wide-open access to drivetrain components.

STRONG AND SECURE
Hydraulic hoses have been rerouted and reinforced with SecuRing connections. High-pressure hydrostatic circuits have been eliminated to minimize messy and costly leaks.

THE POWER OF ONE
Both Extended Life and Heavy Duty undercarriages with sealed and lubricated track (SALT) feature a no-nonsense oval-track design with only one wear-causing forward travel flex point, for longer life. Heavy-Duty undercarriage uses hardened steel pins and bushings, while Extended-Life bushing has hardened SC-2 coating that slows wear. Extended Life undercarriage can extend life up to 50 percent over standard undercarriage. One-piece welded mainframe resists torsional stress, absorbs shock loads, and delivers maximum strength while allowing handy service access to major components.
