Front Gangs
The GS41 Series offers two different types of Front Gangs, Front Notched Disc Blades and Front Spiked Rollers, making this Ground Seeder ideal for many different environments.
Front Notched Disc Blades are ideal for aggressive tillage, or simply cutting seed openings. These come standard with both the Hunting and Conservation Package.
Front Spiked Rollers will create pockets to hold seed and initiate germination, aggressive angling can remove existing stands by their roots. Front Spiked Rollers comes as standard equipment on the Landscaping Package.
Spiked Drive Roller
Standard equipment on the GS41, the Spiked Drive Roller has 1.75” case-hardened spikes that will crush clods, pushes down seeds, and dimples soil to trap moisture
Cast Iron Trailing Cultipacker
To expedite germination, the in-base rear Cast Iron Trailing Cultipacker levels and breaks up soil clods. Pressing the seed into the soil for improved seed-to-soil contact, it firms the seed bed, and creates furrows to trap and channel water with the notched ribs.
The GS41 Series has three different configuration packages, the Hunting Package, the Landscaping Package, and the Conservation Package.
The Hunting Package and Landscaping Package are similar, both coming standard with Spiked Drive Roller, Cool Season Seed Box, and a Cast Iron Trailing Cultipacker. The main difference is the Front Gang, the Hunting Package will be equipped with Front Notched Disc Blades and the Landscaping Package will include the Front Spiked Rollers.
The Landscaping Package comes standard with a Spiked Drive Roller, Front Spiked Rollers, Cool Season Seed Box, and a Cast Iron Trailing Cultipacker.
