Now through 15 March 2014, John Deere is offering a $2000 retail promotion for the
purchase of SeedStar XP Field Conversion Upgrade Kits for 1770NT and 1790 Planters.
The attachments/kits will update model year 2008 through 2011 planters up to model
year 2011-2012 (active pneumatic down force).
The attachment kit provides all the same
values of SeedStar 2 plus the following XP
enhancements:
-Seed singulation monitoring
-Seed spacing monitoring
-Row-unit down force monitoring,
margin and adjustments
-Row-unit ride-quality monitoring
